Wait till the show is over and someone does a deep dive, not this whole-lot-of- nothing clickbait article disguised as a tell-all. It reads like an obsessed fan’s scrapbook of OLD cast interviews (which it is) peppered with speculation just tossed out into the ether. It’s irresponsible journalism on the author’s part to not include what questions were asked to get the recent responses, not cite all interviews effectively, and jump from point to point with making zero conclusions. I like the ones that cover all the aspects of the show. Production, design, casting, interviews all that good stuff. But I also like ones that are written in this format, where it's more of an oral history with interviews with everyone involved. Game Of Thrones and Dazed and Confused are really great ones, really immersive. You learn so much about everything. This one was a dud though, after 17 seasons all someone managed to throw together was 200 and something pages, everything was pulled from old interviews. There was whole chapters dedicated to someone talking about a song that they had featured on the show. The so-called dirt was just a lot of the writers talking about how the actors became full of themselves acting like spoiled children. This one will go to the used bookstore, I'm just bummed that I spent $20 on it. ( Reviewed in the United States on September 30, 2021 )

While there may be some quotes from new interviews, there are a lot of instances where press releases are used instead. You can always tell; the wording is more stilted. The only new information is that McDreamy wasn’t always so McDreamy on set, and that’s why he was let go. Perhaps most unforgivable, though, are the factual errors sprinkled throughout the book, plot points that are just plain wrong. One small example: George was not called 007 because of all the patients he lost when he started. It was because of an appendectomy his first day. There are other, more annoying, examples.
